I have a patron who is looking for a book published within the
last year (she believes). It is about a 50-ish woman whose husband
dies. Much to the distress of her three children (2 in college) she
sells their family home and moves to New York to start all over
again. She thinks it is originally set in the Midwest. Any ideas.

This is similar to If Love Were All by Judith Henry Wall. A widow in her
fifties sells her house. She lives in Nebraska. Her three children are not
happy. She goes to search for her first true love. I believe he lives in
Colorado though. It was a good read.
