<< feel certain someone on this list has experience in this and I would love
to use some of it! I will begin overseeing our collection of Adult Literacy
Books. We currently have a core collection of about 200 fiction and
non-fiction titles. I am wondering what criteria anyone out there uses when
selecting, which catalogs you find most helpful, how you display & advertise
it, etc. Any suggestions are most definitely appreciated. Thanks in advance
for your help! You may reply directly to me instead of the list if you want.

Have you tried contact the Laubach Organization? Literacy is their whole
focus. The website is: http://www.laubach.org/ I would also suggest
contact Charis McEachern, spokesperson for Romance Writers of America -
www.rwanational.com The organization has long been a supporter of literacy,
and every year at the annual conference, there is a massive booksigning, at
which all the proceeds are donated to the cause of adult literacy.
