suspense v. thriller

I am putting together some readers advisory materials and had a question. I
am trying to find out what differentiates suspense novels from thrillers. I
have checked various sources on the internet and in print and am having a
hard time defining a difference. I would appreciate some opinions or
"standards" from some of you (who have more experience with this type of
thing.) I am a one person operation in this project.

I think we recently covered this subject, Laura. Check the archives for
October and November, I'm sure I recall a very good discourse by one of our
members on exactly this distinction.
