Not technically fiction, I guess, but I know poetry questions have been
answered on this maillist before. A patron's mother-in-law died and they
found this handwritten poem which the mother-in-law said she enjoyed
reading with her own mother, so it's an old poem. The title is REVERIE
and the first line is "I drifted last night on an inland sea." She wanted
to know who wrote the poem originally.
Nobody at our information desk
could verify a poem named REVERIE with that first line. We checked
Granger's both print and CD-ROM and all the sites on the internet we could
think of. Do any of you happen to know this poem?
It COULD be that the mother-in-law herself wrote it....
Thanks--
