Patron is looking for a book he read in paperback about 10 years ago
with "Noah" in the title but doesn't know if that was the entire title
for if the name was in the title or at the start of the title. It was
a novel that imagined Noah's life and each chapter started with a
Bible verse. The book was fairly faithful to the Bible but took
liberties and invented dialog between Noah and his family. The
librarian who took this went through the usual search procedures but
there are thousands of titles with Noah in the title. She seems to
think this is am impossible request but I am determined to prove her
wrong. I hope someone can help!

I haven't read it so don't know if this one works but Ellen Traylor
published a book in 1985 called Noah. It is a fictional account of Noah's
life.

I have deleted the original request for the Noah book, and thought it
was answered by the suggestions of the E. Gunderson Traylor
book. But doing some purging today, I came across a book called
NOT WANTED ON THE VOYAGE by Timothy Findley. It's a
novelization of the Noah story, each section begins with a verse. I
can't remember all the request details....

Anyway, in case it wasn't the Traylor book, your patron might want
to look at this one. BYE!
