I seem to be on a roll of asking the list questions lately and have
yet another one.

Our new director has been making some changes to our library, which
includes renaming some areas. We would like to rename the
Audio-Visual Center, which houses adult tapes & CDs (music and book),
TV rooms, and the Internet and computer labs. We would like to rename
it to make it to make it a litte more modern and inviting to the
patrons. What do you call your AV area? One idea is to call it the
"E-Center".

Ideas anyone?

Robin,

Our "Media Desk" includes AV, Periodicals and Word Processing computers.

Perhaps something like "Non-print Materials?"

A nearby library just renamed their Sight and Sound. I've also seen the
name Movies and Music used. I like both, but especially Movies and
Music. OK, it leaves out books on audio formats, but hey, it makes more
sense to the general user than does audiovisual.
