I am putting together a program for librarians on multicultural fiction, by which I mean
trends, popular authors, and collection development to best represent and market
fiction from around the world. We all can purchase Amy Tan and Bharati Mukherjee
with confidence, but how can we discover other authors?
Can anyone recommend a potential speaker on this subject? Our organization, the
Adult Reading Round Table of Illinois, can pay an honorarium and travel expenses.
Please email me privately if you have suggestions or wish to suggest yourself!
Best,
Roberta
