Hello, everyone!
Here's my new question...a patron read a book sometime before 1982 about the Pope being murdered. The nun who finds him dead in his apartment is sent away, and the murder is covered up.
We checked What Mystery do I Read Next, Ths Subject is Murder and Olderr's Fiction Index. The problem is, the patron doesn't remember the title, and doesn't think it will ring a bell when she sees it. (If she did see it in those resources, she didn't recognize it.) But she does know that the title did not give any indication of the plot of the book, like (her example) Catch-22.
I told her you guys would know for sure :)
