A colleague has a patron who is looking for a book he read when he was
younger--he's elderly so we're thinking probably 1940's or so. The only
information he has is that there were 2 characters named "Shiftless Soul"
and "Henry Ware" and that they fought Indians. Three of us have done some
looking (Novelist, etc.) to no avail.

I realize this isn't much to go on, but I know you all often work wonders.
