Will someone do a favor for me, please, and translate the Hebrew passage on the
dedication page of Gail Godwin's novel, _Evensong_, into English? This book is
the one that we'll discuss at this month's book discussion group, and I'd like
to be able to share the translation with my readers; but, I'm not able to read
Hebrew. Thank you for your help!

Bob,
This passage comes from Kohelet, a part of the Bible, and loosely means "It is good to flourish/prosper from The One (God)." I'd interpret it as being a loving dedication to her husband.
