Does anyone happen to know any of the titles written by Emily =
Brightfield? I think they are what would be termed gentle? murders since =
the patron reads nothing that contains sex or gore. We are a =
multi-branch system and questions such as this have prompted the =
establishment of meetings by the RA staff to discuss various reads. I =
have been given the job of making a list of read-alikes for the meeting =
- any help would be greatly appreciated.

This would be the 'Mrs. Jeffries" series, as in 'Mrs. Jeffries dusts for
clues', 'Mrs. Jeffries takes the cake' etc. I think one of the first
titles was 'The Inspector and Mrs. Jeffries' - at least that is the first
one I received in a Large Print edition.
