I have a client who would like to try reading fiction (she's been mostly preoccupied with self help books as she's been getting
over some personal problems) She will not read anything by a male author and she hasn't given me much to go on except to say
she would like something light and a bit funny. I don't think she'd mind a bit of mystery, but she doesn't want anything even
remotely violent or sexual.
Any takers?

And:
Bill Bryson writes non-fiction, but really quite humourous... just fun to
read.
