One of our patrons recently saw 'The Green Mile", & it started him thinking
about a book he'd read some time ago. It concerns an Irish female terrorist,
who is a kind of a faith healer. She's captured & sentenced to death, but
before execution, some how manages to pass the gift on to some one else....
a doctor, perhaps? This other person is in an operating room, while surgeons
are working on a young girl. The little one dies, but this person goes over
to her, touches her, & brings her back to life.

Any ideas about the author or title?
