A bit off the wall but I got this while reading my e-mail so thought all
you helpful folks might know the answer. Does anyone know the name of the
dog on the old 1960's TV show "Petticoat Junction"? I've found out just
about everything else about the show but not the name of the dog!

Thank you to Mary, Tom, Marla, and Gary. Yah'll are great!

Most sources seem to agree that the dog's name was "Higgins" although some
seem to indicate that he was just called 'Dog' on the show itself. The web
sites were very useful and I have a very happy patron!

He was variously called "Dog" or "Boy"--he was, however, played by Higgins,
the original Benjie.
