Can the collective mind come up with a title for one of my older patrons? He
describes the book as being published within about the last ten years and
having a one word title. The main character is a young girl, about 12 years
old, who is one of a community of survivors after a global disaster.
Everyone in the community has an extremely high IQ and is a descendent of
the same woman who died in the 1700's. The girl is the youngest member of
the group until an eight year old boy arrives from Alaska riding on a Kodiak
bear. The book has great details on survivalists in a people-less world. The
author is not Heinlein.
