Jamie Harrison writes about Montana and about Native Americans but I'm not
sure that the Bitterroots are included. Books like "The Edge of the
Crazies" and "Blue Deer Thaw" are included. Another book I enjoyed about
Kalispell and Native Americans was "Blood Ties" by Brouwer. Jeanne

Jane, there is a newish book that has become quite popular in Montana, at
least for Christmas giving anyway. It might appeal to your patron.
