A couple of years ago in either Stumpers-L or Fiction-L, someone asked
about books in the "choose your own adventure" format but intended for
adult rather than child readership. (The LC subject heading, by the way,
is "Plot your own stories.") Just recently I stumbled across two other
examples, so I'm posting this for the sake of the Archives (cross-posting
to both lists, actually, as I can't seem to dig out the original question).

One is the latest book by one of my favorite current authors, Kim Newman:
the book has so far been published only in the U.K.:
