This is an old one. A patron is looking for a book she read as a child,
about 1938. It was called Thunder Cave and included the following little
ditty:

"Buddy Doodle then was dead,
Buddy Doodle dandy,
Dropped a mushbowl on his toe
And choked on horehound candy."

It is *not* the Thunder Cave by Roland Smith which was published much later.

Any help will be appreciated.
