We have a patron looking for a Romance novel she read several years ago.
She thought the title was "Butterfly". She can't remember the author, but
thinks it was somewhere in the early part of the alphabet (A-F)! The
story line (she thinks) was about a group of women who form a club called
the "Butterfly"? Help! I know this isn't much to go on but she really
wants to read this again. Any help would be appreciated. Sheila

It's would not be strictly a romance but rather erotic womanly fiction.
Butterfly by Kathryn Harvey (1988) is probably the book. It's been a long
time since I read it but I remember it as being about a group of women who
set up a club for women to experience their fantasies. I also remember that
Kathryn Harvey is a pseudonym for another author but I can't remember who. It
was a good read.

Title is BUTTERFLY, author is Kathryn Harvey. First pubbed in 1988 (?).
Women join an exclusive club on Rodeo Drive, where they can live out their
sexual fantasies. Their "passkey" is a butterfly pendant. The lives of
several members, including the founder of the club, make up the storyline.

It is Butterfly by Kathryn Harvey subtitle: Every Woman's Ultimate Fantasy.
The real story is about the woman who changed her name and created the club
for women after being forced into prostitution at a young age in San Antonio,
TX (I think). she came by the idea of creating for women a safe place to
endulge in sexual pleasures that men were use to. Plus she wanted to get rich
and get back at the man who had broken her heart etc. There were 3 women who
were in the club that were featured Jessica the lawyer, Trudie the builder, &
Linda the surgeon.

There was another book by the same title by Gwendoline Butler, pub. 1996, a
love story.
