Subject: Holiday displays for adult books
I have brain fatigue at the moment and could sure use some fresh ideas
if anyone has any to share. Over the years I've done the Christmas
mysteries, fiction set during Christmas, staff choices for Christmas
giving, great little books for last minute gifts, etc. What has worked
for you?

I'm
thinking of looking at how men write women and women
write men for next year's book discussion. Do any of
you have suggestions of good books with women
protaganists written by men and vice versa?
So far I
have Kate Vaiden by Reynolds Price.
I would have to
relook at Accidental Tourist (Tyler) to see if I think
she gets men right. (Course how would I really know
unless I get a man to read it?)
Thanks,
Maggie Holmes
