I read an autobiography a few years back entitled "They Can Kill You But
They Can't Eat You" about a woman (Dawn Steel) who rose to be a top
Hollywood producer.
An inspirational account of her life and struggle to rise to the top in a
man's
industry. (She passed away recently, at a very early age.)

This reminds me of another good bio of a woman movie producer:
You'll Never Eat Lunch In This Town Again, by Julia Phillips (1991). I
wouldn't exactly characterize it as inspirational, but it is very realistic
about the hardships of a woman in a high-powered profession dominated by
men.
