I have a patron looking for a book she read acouple of years ago. It is
about a man from Chicago who gets a letter telling him a friend of his
has just committed suicide. About the same time he gets a package from
the same man who just committed suicide. The package contains plane
tickets to his funeral in China and instructions to go to a certain
place possibly to find something there. Along the way he gets involved
with a man who works with rare, antique textiles. The book contains
detailed discussions about textiles. The patrons says the author is
most likely from Chicago and works with antique textiles. Also, the
patron remembers the cover of the book is red.
Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Thanks a bunch!
