A patron remembers reading a novel about 15 years ago, where the
protagonist was a steel worker who fell many stories and survived.
Turns out he is Jesus, who has returned for the Second Coming, or not, or
maybe? Patron only vaguely remembers? I vaguely remember reading it,
too! Can't remember title or author ... having a senior moment! HELP!

I believe the title was "Second Son" but cannot remember the author. It
was in paperback when I read it more than 10 years ago.

I guess I'm a day or two late with this response. I'll have to be more
diligent about reading my mail.
As a point of minor interest; a steel worker is someone who (usually) works
in a steel mill, making steel. Those people who walk and climb around on the
top of tall buildings, bridges, silos, antennas, overpasses, etc. fastening
steel beams and rebar into place, are iron workers. A very good memoir about
iron workers and what it is like to be one is: On High Steel: The Education
of An Iron Worker, by Mike Cherry (out of print)
