To all you folks out there, I'm passing this along from a co-worker. Can
anyone answer this one? Following is the question exactly as it was put out:I just wanted to check with any children's librarians to see if you
recognize this book from the patron's description.
The main character is a little boy. His name may be Max. He owns a
little dog who slips in and out of different imaginary roles with him.
In each segment the dog and boy were dressed according to the role.
The customer and his sister read this book in the 60's and 70's and he
would really like to find it again. I realize we don't have much to go
on, but thought the description might ring a bell for someone. We have
checked "What Do I Read Next" and all the other resources here.
Thanks,
