We have found that doing a series around a particular subject works very
well. It often times enables you to choose books that are "sleepers" - They
are wonderful, but did not get a lot of atention when they first came out.
In Kansas book discussion series are available to libraries through the
Kansas Humanities Council. For a look at the topics and book choices in the
