Juniper. Borzoi Sprinters, 1992. While apprenticed to the witch woman Euny, a young girl struggles to save her family from the evil machinations of her power-hungry Aunt Meroot. Prequel to WISE CHILD.

Wise Child. Knopf, 1987. Abandoned by both her parents, 9-year-old Wise Child goes to live with the witch woman Juniper, who begins to train her in the ways of herbs and magic.

Raven's Gate. Scholastic Press, 2005. Sent to live in a foster home in a remote Yorkshire village, Matt, a troubled fourteen-year-old English boy, uncovers an evil plot involving witchcraft and the site of an ancient stone circle.

Jarvis, Robin.
The Whitby Witches. Chronicle Press, 2006. Ben and Jennet, an orphaned brother and sister, are taken in by an old woman in the quaint fishing village of Whitby, where they soon learn of the town's ancient lore and become involved in an epic struggle between good and evil.

Naylor, Phyllis R.
The Witch Herself. Atheneum, 1978. The struggle of Lynn with Mrs. Tuggle begun in Witch's Sister and Witch Water.

The Witch's Eye. Delacorte Press, 1990. Though suspected witch-neighbor Mrs. Tuggle has died, her glass eye resurfaces, bringing new dangers and terrors to Lynn's family.

The Wee Free Men. HarperCollins, 2003. A young witch-to-be named Tiffany teams up with the Wee Free Men, a clan of six-inch-high blue men, to rescue her baby brother and ward off a sinister invasion from Fairyland.

Wintersmith. Harper Tempest 2006. When witch-in-training Tiffany Aching accidentally interrupts the Dance of the Seasons and awakens the interest of the elemental spirit of Winter, she requires the help of the six-inch-high, sword-wielding, sheep-stealing Wee Free Men to put the seasons aright.
